About Swarna Bindu Prashana
Swarna Bindu Prashana is also well know by its other names like “Swarna Prashana” (or) “Swarna Amrutha Prashana” (or) “Suvarnaprashan”
Swarna Bindu Prashana is a ayurvedic Immunization programme for children aged 0 to 16 years.
Suvarnaprashan is one of the sixteen ‘Sanskar’ (rituals) which described in Ancient Indian Scriptural.
Swarna Bindu prashana is a safe, effective immunization method and has been preached by our ancient ayurvedic acharyas kashyapa, shusrutha & vaghbhata.
As per Ayurvedic Literature:
Ayurveda’s authorized Book- Kashyap Sanhita indicate to do “Suvarnaprashan” to every new born child:
“…..मधु सर्पिभ्यम लेहयेत कनकं शिशु: I
सुवर्णप्राशनं ह्येतान्मेदाग्नी बलावार्धनाम II
आयुष्यं मंगलम पुण्यं वृश्यम वर्ण्यम ग्रहापहम I
परम मेधावी व्याधिभिरना च घ्रुश्यते II
…. सुवर्णप्राशनाद भवेत् ”I
As per our mythology, a strong foundation for health has to be given for the growing children from their childhood (Balya Avastha) to ensure their proper growth and development, to immunize them from non specific immunity diseases and other common disorders that will occur during their later parts of their life (Haani period and Vrudha Avastha).
So, SwarnaBindu has its prominence in todays world, to immunize the growing children by safe, effective natural immunization method.
Swarna Bindu is also effective remedy for special children with disorders like reduced temper,attention defecit,bed wetting and other psychosomatic problems,learning difficulties,hyperactivity,delayed milestones etc.
Administartion and Dosage
It is administered every month on Pushya Nakshatra Day (Comes ones in 27 days) for minimum of 24 months (2 Years) to around maximum of 90 months (7 Years 6 Months).
The drops should be given on Empty stomach on Pushya Nakshatra day, early in the morning.
The children should be administered with four drops of SwarnaBindu followed by few drops of honey.
